Itinerary :

DAY 1: Arrival and meeting up with the group
DAY 2: Tour orientation and sightseeing

After breakfast we’ll meet up for a brief orientation providing details of the activities in the days ahead as well as aspects of the local culture. This will be followed by visits to Padang Padang Beach and the iconic Uluwatu temple located on a cliff. The day will end with a Kecak dance and welcome meal.

DAY 3: Travel from Kuta to Ubud

Along the way, we will stop at some villages that specialize in crafts and art (BatuBulan village famous for its Batik and hand-woven cloth, Celuk home for gold and silver smith; Mas village famous for its wood carving and Batuan for its artwork and painting) and a visit to the famous Monkey Forest. We’ll check into hotel in the afternoon.

DAY 4: Time for some adventures

The highlight of the day is rafting down the Ayung River with lunch at the finish point. This will be followed by a Classic Volkswagen Jeep Safari (weather permitting) through the village to the rice terraces and coffee plantation. We’ll stop for an opportunity to try the exhilarating Swing over the jungle. Next is a visit to Batur UNESCO geopark museum, after which we’ll travel via Kintamani village for stunning views of Bali’s most active volcano and Batur lake, the largest lake in Bali.

DAY 5: More to see and do

Our adventure continues today with a visit to one of the best Bali’s best hidden waterfalls and then onto the Lake Temple of Pura Ulun Danu Beratan. We’ll stop for lunch on the way at a UNESCO heritage site, Jati luwih rice terrace, for an afternoon walk.

DAY 6: Authentic Balinese Cooking class & free time in the afternoon

Today is all about preparing and enjoying traditional Balinese food.

You will embark on a culinary adventure to unlock the secret recipes of authentic Balinese dishes. This cooking experience will guide you through finding traditional ingredients and preparing and cooking them in a fully equipped kitchen in a local Balinese village compound.

The day will start by visiting one of the many vibrant morning markets where we will select fresh herbs, spices, and vegetables along with fresh fish and meats. Then we will head off on a guided village visit, where you can see the morning routine of a typical Balinese family and learn about the unique nature of the Balinese house compound. On arrival at the cooking site, you will be welcomed by a skilled and experienced cook who will impart the secrets of Balinese cooking in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. while in the afternoon is your leisure time for you to enjoy your hotel facilities, get yourself massage or explore the town of Ubud and all that it has to offer.

DAY 7: Travel to Friends of National Park Foundation (www.fnpf.org)

Today is time to say goodbye to Ubud as we move to Penida Island. From Ubud we’ll travel to the town of Kusamba to catch the fast boat across the strait. Arriving in the early afternoon, after checking into our accommodation we’ll head down to the beach for a swim and grab some lunch at a local restaurant, where the volunteering program orientation will take place including an introduction to snorkelling and a welcome BBQ

DAYS 8,9,10: Volunteering with FNPF
The activities for the next 3 days will vary according to the requirements of FNPF at the time of our visit, so the following is indicative of what to expect :

Plastic pollution workshop, beach cleaning & data entry, as well as working in the reforestation nursery.

Coral reef restoration workshop, coral planting and an opportunity to snorkel with manta rays.

Bali starling workshop, Bali starling nest making/ placing and Bali starling monitoring.

DAY 11: Exploring Penida

Today we’ll get get out and about on a Penida island tour to visit some more of Penida’s iconic locations, including Klingking Beach, Angel Billabong, Broken beach, Palung Cliff, stopping for lunch along the way. Before returning to our accommodation, we’ll stop at one of the best restaurants for a view of the sunset.

DAY 12: Getting back to Kuta

Today is the time to say good bay to the fellows or new friends ( hugging, contact number or sosial media exchanges, and maybe crying) then we will take the boat back to the Bali main land which take roughly about 45 minutes to 1 hours . Once whenn we arrived in Bali mainland your fellow driver has been waiting to take us to a accommodation in Kuta for you to spend one night before leaving to your next destination. There will be a farewell dinner at Jimbaran Bay

DAY 13: Departure arrangements

Today is the tour end of the trip. The 12n/13 day trip might end here. but our friendship will go on and on along with the memories and some photos taken during the trip and today . Before finally to say good bay we will help you to arrange transport to your next destinations.

Our Bali tour guide Mr. Wayan truly stood out remarkably patient, skillful, and ensuring our 6-day adventure was filled with exploration. The thrilling Mount Batur trek and adventurous ATV ride, each moment was exciting. The spa was relaxing, and places like Tirta Gangga, Bat Cave Temple, and Heaven's Gate Temple showed us Bali's rich culture. Nusa Penida was the highlight, making us excited to return and discover even more of its captivating beauty in the future.   Great tour guide, and company
I joined a group of strangers to travel and explore Bali. Our brilliant tour guide was Wandi who picked me up from the airport with his welcoming cheek to cheek grin, and immediately I felt at home. In the 15 minute trip back to the hotel to meet the group of people, I’d be traveling with over the next 10 days, he made me feel at ease and excited for what was to come. I have to tell you it’s no easy task, coordinating a group of older people who each have their own peculiar perks and requests. Wandi did this with ease and passion, all while maintaining a high-level of authority and leadership over the group of eccentric travelers. Wandi is a native of the country and knows it like the back of his hand. No request is too large and no task too difficult. I had left some important medication in another city while we left to go travel. Wandi, managed to locate my medication and have it brought over without missing a beat.   Wonderfull Bali! Heaven on earth!
Yes. I will be glad to give my feedback about my trip to Bali which remains evergreen even today. Bali is fantastic! I liked visiting all places of interest along with my guide Mr.Arnoto Wyan Wandi. My wife also accompanied me. We sawUluvatu, Kintamani,Ubudh, Nusa Dua,Pandava beach.Katchak dance ,tortoise island, Besakhi temple.Coffee plantation at Ubudh is a must see.We felt deeply impressed and remember Wyan Wandi’s guided tour which remains evergreen to us even today.   A great insight
On a recent visit to Bali I was taken on a tour of the island by a very impressive guide, Wandi Artono. He was passionate about guiding and very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the 'Island of the Gods'. His story-telling sparkled and his insights into living in Bali, as a man with a family, were engaging.   An amazing trip with an amazing tour guide
In September 2023 we visited Bali and Nusa Penida. The experience started already at the airport, where Wandi was waiting for us in his traditional Balinese outfit. Throughout the trip he learned us a lot about the culture and habits in Bali. He took us to the must-see touristic places, but he also knew some quiet and more authentic sites. There was a good balance between culture and nature. Although the entire journey was planned in advance, we could ask to change the shedule or add some extra trips. We did follow another itinerary than proposed on this website, but that was not a problem at all for Wandi. He always respected our choices and did the best he could to make the trip unforgettable. Besides being a fantastic tour guide with much knowledge, he is a good photographer and a very loyal person.   Fantastic experience on Wandi's Eco Trip
I had an amazing tour with Wandi last year to Bali and Nusa Penida. It was with a small group, and he was somehow able to cater to each of our individual wishes for our trip. As well as visiting the well-known sites, Wandi took us off the beaten track to visit smaller villages and artisans. We also spent a few days volunteering with some truly inspirational people. I would love to go back and do it all again!
